Welcome to the second installment of this series of posts that I’ve dubbed A Year in Travel Pictures, where I will be remembering some of the journeys I took during the year that is about to end. In today’s post, I will share with you some photos that I took in the month of March.
March 3, The Carnival of Venice.
Just as we did last year, we went again to Venice for the Carnival celebrations, an absolute overdose of colors, sounds, and beautiful, elaborate costumes.
Unperturbed by the crowds, I set some time aside for a bit of cityscape photography at the blue hour.
March 28-30, Moab, Utah.
The end of the month saw me traveling the farthest I’ve traveled this year, all the way to Utah and the are around Moab, with its endless string of natural beauties and incredible geology. Here are some images from Dead Horse Point State Park and Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef National Parks.
These two trips were definitely amongst the highlights of the year. Stay tuned for what April will bring. Also, if you want fresh news and tips about travel and photography, please consider subscribing to my newsletter.
