Tellaro is just another one of those picturesque Ligurian villages by the sea. It is just a few kilometers south of Cinque Terre, so it is a perfect destination for those wanting to extend their trip there to the surrounding areas.
It is also a great spot for summer sunsets, when the setting sun hits the houses and the church at an angle. Sadly, last time I was there it was late morning and rather cloudy, so the village was backlit and I had to take three bracketed shots to capture the details in the shadows and in the sky at the same time. Arguably, it might have been better to underexpose the sky some more and avoid some of those blown highlights.
