I captured this relaxed moment in the Uta el-Hammam square of Chefchaouen, Morocco. One of the three gentlemen on the left must have said something funny, as they were smiling with an air of complicity.
I used a longish focal length of 85mm to shoot this image from a certain distance, as I did not want to ruin the candid moment. Some people say you should not use a telephoto lens for street photography, but as with most absolute “rules” in photography, I disagree.
